Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Perform data entry and reconcile financial transactions using QuickBooks
- Prepare basic financial statements and reports under supervision
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records
- Support month-end closing procedures and audits
- Communicate with clients regarding financial documentation
- Learn and implement accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (accounting/finance degree preferred)
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data sorting)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
- Willingness to learn accounting software (training provided)
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
