Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards
- Support accounts payable/receivable functions including invoice processing and payment verification
- Contribute to budget preparation and variance analysis for departmental reporting
- Maintain organized financial records using accounting software (QuickBooks proficiency preferred)
- Participate in internal audits and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong data analysis capabilities
- Knowledge of GAAP principles and basic accounting cycles
- Exceptional attention to detail with high accuracy in numerical tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
