We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Accountant to join our growing finance team in London, United Kingdom. As an Entry Level Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, assisting with month-end close processes, and supporting our senior accounting staff. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, trial balances, and balance sheets.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and corporation tax documents.
- Conduct general ledger account analysis and variance reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently studying).
- Candidate for or currently pursuing ACCA, CIMA, or ACA professional qualifications is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English.
