As an Entry Level Accountant, you will work closely with our senior accounting staff to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, bookkeeping, and reconciliation. Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, ledgers, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Process invoices and ensure proper documentation and coding.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and general tax filings under supervision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP) is a plus but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
