Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Prepare basic financial reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Organize and archive financial documents and tax records.
- Answer general accounting inquiries from internal departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated with a focus on finance.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new software and accounting systems quickly.
- A willingness to obtain relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) post-hire.
