Responsibilities
- Accounts Management: Assist with daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all financial records match.
- Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
- Data Entry: Maintain and update the general ledger using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Compliance: Help ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
- Support: Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing graduation).
- Skills: Basic knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; internship or academic projects are a plus.
- Software: Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent time management abilities.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to the team.
