Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all journal entries are recorded accurately and timely.
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including processing invoices and reconciling customer accounts.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare basic financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, for management review.
- Support the audit process by gathering and organizing financial documentation and records.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems for financial documents.
- Assist in tax preparation activities and compliance filings where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates welcomed).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
