Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Accounts Management: Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Data Entry & Analysis: Maintain accurate financial records by performing data entry, reconciling bank statements, and identifying discrepancies.
- Compliance Support: Support the tax team in gathering necessary documentation for quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Assist with Audits: Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits as required.
- General Ledger: Monitor general ledger accounts and assist in the preparation of adjusting entries.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role or internship completion.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel functions.
- Software: Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills.
