Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Assist with month-end closing processes and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/client communications
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation for corporate clients
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for transaction recording
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience (internships acceptable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA eligible) a plus
