Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Enter and verify financial data with a high degree of accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliation and expense reporting.
- Support the finance team in preparing monthly financial statements.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new software.
