What You Will Do:
As a member of our Finance Department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our clients and our firm. You will work closely with senior accountants to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Assist in the daily maintenance of general ledger accounts and the posting of journal entries.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and variance analysis.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor payments, and ensure accurate billing and collections.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with GAAP standards and internal policies.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and improve data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Certifications: Currently enrolled in CPA or CMA programs is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to detect errors and ensure data integrity.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Work Style: Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
