Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial statements and reports.
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Process accounts payable invoices and accounts receivable entries.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Organize and maintain financial records, ledgers, and archives.
- Assist senior accountants with audit preparations and documentation.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to track financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formatting).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Professional, positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
