Responsibilities
- Process Invoices: Accurately prepare, review, and send invoices to clients in a timely manner to ensure timely payments.
- Revenue Management: Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances to improve cash flow.
- Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing errors, discrepancies, and customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Data Entry: Maintain and update billing records and financial databases with high precision and integrity.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze billing reports to identify trends and areas for process improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure all billing practices adhere to relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management.
- Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or medical billing systems like Epic/Cerner) and MS Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain data accuracy under pressure.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
