Responsibilities
- Accounts Management: Assist with the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
- Month-End Close: Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing supporting schedules and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
- Data Entry: Maintain and update the general ledger using our accounting software, ensuring all financial data is organized and accessible.
- Reporting: Prepare basic financial reports and spreadsheets for management review.
- Document Control: Organize and file financial documents, receipts, and invoices to ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: No prior accounting experience is required. We are looking for candidates with a strong aptitude for numbers and a willingness to learn.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (formulas and data formatting), is required.
- Attributes: Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with team members.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
