Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and maintain accurate records
- Support financial reporting preparation for internal stakeholders
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Contribute to audit preparations and compliance documentation
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/ERP) for data entry and analysis
- Assist with budget tracking and variance reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years accounting experience (internships acceptable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with intermediate spreadsheet skills
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- QuickBooks or ERP software experience preferred
