Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with preparation of financial statements and compliance reports
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and manage vendor relationships
- Support tax preparation and filing processes for corporate clients
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (QuickBooks/ERP)
- Analyze financial data trends and variance reports
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews
- Adhere to GAAP standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- CPA eligibility or actively pursuing CPA certification preferred
