Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Assist with month-end closing processes and account reconciliations
- Support tax preparation and filing for corporate clients
- Conduct internal audits and financial controls testing
- Utilize QuickBooks and SAP for data entry and reporting
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or related field)
- 0-2 years of internship or accounting experience
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Basic understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CPA candidacy or progress toward certification preferred
