Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation
- Conduct bank and credit card account reconciliations
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems for financial records
- Support audits and tax preparation processes
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) for data entry
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (recent graduates encouraged)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Attention to detail with strong numerical aptitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- QuickBooks experience preferred
