Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and reconcile bank accounts
- Implement and optimize internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with tax specialists to ensure accurate filings and documentation
- Lead financial audits and provide strategic insights to senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep understanding of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written communication for client reporting and team collaboration
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a virtual setting
