Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial statements
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audits
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry and reporting
- Support tax preparation and documentation requests
- Track inventory and manage vendor relationships
- Adhere to GAAP and regulatory compliance standards
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Virginia Beach residency preferred
- 1 year of internship or part-time accounting experience
