Responsibilities
- Perform accurate bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Process payroll and maintain employee expense records
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Support audit preparations and document compliance requirements
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for data entry and reporting
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience acceptable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
