Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and review of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow)
- Perform month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support tax preparation processes for individual and corporate clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and compliance documentation
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for data entry and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial analysis projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail with high accuracy in financial work
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- QuickBooks certification preferred
