Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Assist in processing accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/client communications
- Support tax preparation activities and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and other accounting software
- Participate in month-end/year-end closing processes under senior guidance
- Collaborate with auditors during compliance reviews and financial audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and QuickBooks
- Understanding of GAAP principles and basic tax regulations
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for client interactions
- Proactive problem-solving approach and adaptability to changing priorities
- Ability to work independently while thriving in team-based environments
- Relevant internship or academic accounting experience preferred
