Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and reconcile bank statements
- Assist with monthly/quarterly financial reporting and VAT submissions
- Support audit preparation by organizing financial documentation
- Manage expense reports and payroll processing support
- Conduct data entry with precision using Xero/Sage software
- Participate in month-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client advisory projects
Qualifications
- Recent accounting/finance graduate or equivalent AAT level 2/3
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Basic understanding of UK GAAP and tax regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proactive attitude with willingness to learn continuously
- Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship
