Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately
- Assist in monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Perform data entry and maintain digital financial records
- Help with VAT returns and basic tax compliance documentation
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client financial reviews
- Contribute to internal process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English at grade C/4 or above
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, data sorting)
- Basic understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proactive attitude with willingness to learn new systems
- UK work authorization required
