Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly financial statement preparation and reconciliation
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor communications
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Process payroll transactions and ensure compliance with UK regulations
- Conduct internal audits to verify transaction accuracy
- Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax documentation
- Generate financial reports for management review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Basic knowledge of UK GAAP and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Experience with accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero)
