Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial statement preparation
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Support audit processes and documentation requests
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero) for data entry
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 1-2 years of internship or work experience in accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or Xero accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA study support available for qualified candidates
