Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Contribute to internal audit procedures and compliance checks
- Support tax filing preparation and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero) for data entry and analysis
Qualifications
- Recent graduate with Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (2:1 or above)
- Basic knowledge of UK GAAP and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- QuickBooks or Xero certification preferred
