Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and transactional processing
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Utilize accounting software (SAP/Oracle) for data entry and reporting
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial analysis projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (2:1 or higher)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks)
- Basic understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC compliance requirements
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy skills
