Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes with accurate data entry and verification
- Contribute to internal audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision
- Assist in budget preparation variance analysis for client portfolios
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification progress (CPA/ACCA a plus)
