As an Entry-Level Accountant, you'll be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards, and contributing to our clients' financial success. Responsibilities
- Prepare and process financial transactions including accounts payable/receivable
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Support in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Utilize accounting software (Sage/QuickBooks) for data entry and reporting
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (2:1 or above)
- Basic knowledge of UK accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs)
- Attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Strong organizational skills and time management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
