Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile financial transactions using accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero)
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax compliance documentation
- Support audit preparation and maintain organized financial records
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client financial analysis
Qualifications
- Recent finance/accounting graduate or equivalent qualification (A-Levels/BTEC)
- Basic understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis)
- Strong numerical accuracy and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive attitude with willingness to learn new systems
