Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Prepare basic financial statements under supervision
- Support audit processes and documentation requests
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and Sage software
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Adhere to UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
Qualifications
- Recent graduate or A-Levels in Accounting/Finance/Maths
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
