Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation for client reviews
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and maintain general ledgers
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with tax department on quarterly filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (0-2 years experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- QuickBooks certification preferred
- Valid NC CPA eligibility required (passed all sections)
