Responsibilities
- Perform monthly bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with tax preparation and filing for individual and business clients
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Support audits by maintaining organized financial documentation
- Utilize QuickBooks and accounting software for data entry and management
- Conduct account reconciliations and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
- Proactive problem-solving approach and analytical mindset
- Valid Oregon CPA exam eligibility (preferred but not required)
