Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly financial statement preparation and reconciliations
- Process accounts payable/receivable and payroll transactions
- Support tax compliance and filing processes
- Perform general ledger account analysis and maintenance
- Conduct internal control testing procedures
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data analysis
- Prepare client workpapers and audit documentation
- Adhere to GAAP and SEC regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (recent graduates welcome)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Effective written and verbal communication
- CPA exam eligibility (preferred)
