Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with 100% accuracy
- Assist in month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and regulatory compliance documents
- Support internal audits by maintaining organized financial records
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with tax department during filing seasons
- Implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail with numerical aptitude
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Proactive problem-solving approach
- Relevant internship or academic project experience preferred
