Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledgers and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and journal entries
- Support accounts payable/receivable processing and invoice verification
- Contribute to financial statement preparation and regulatory compliance
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for data entry and reporting
- Participate in internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial analysis projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (0-2 years experience)
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional numerical accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA) preferred but not required
