Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Support audit procedures by providing documentation and schedules
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite) for transaction processing
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives in accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Proactive problem-solving approach with collaborative mindset
