Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support accounts payable/receivable functions and maintain accurate financial records
- Contribute to internal audits and compliance documentation under GAAP standards
- Collaborate with senior accountants on tax preparation and financial modeling projects
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for data entry and reporting
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
