Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly financial statement preparation and analysis
- Perform bookkeeping functions including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Conduct bank reconciliations and account balance verification
- Prepare sales tax filings and regulatory compliance documentation
- Collaborate with auditors during external review processes
- Maintain accurate financial records in accounting software systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
