Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Support audit processes by gathering documentation and preparing schedules
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for data entry and report generation
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Participate in process improvement projects to enhance accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and fundamental accounting concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- 1-2 years of internship or part-time accounting experience (preferred)
