Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple client portfolios
- Process daily transactions, reconciliations, and bank account reconciliations
- Generate and distribute daily financial reports to clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with same-day payment processing
- Utilize cloud accounting platforms (Xero/QuickBooks) for real-time bookkeeping
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Provide proactive financial insights to clients during daily check-ins
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper with UK SME portfolio
- Expertise in Xero and QuickBooks with real-time processing capabilities
- Same-day payment processing experience essential
- ACCA/CIMA/CIPB qualification or equivalent practical experience
- Advanced knowledge of UK tax regulations and VAT procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% reconciliation accuracy
- Strong communication skills for daily client reporting
- Ability to manage 8-12 client portfolios simultaneously
