Responsibilities
- Manage client accounts payable/receivable cycles with precision
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Support VAT returns and HMRC compliance documentation
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls
- Collaborate with senior finance teams on strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years UK accounting practice experience
- Advanced proficiency in Xero/Sage/QuickBooks
- Expert knowledge of UK GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional Excel skills with VLOOKUP/PivotTables
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines
