Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements in strict compliance with UK GAAP.
- Process payroll and ensure accurate statutory deductions for HMRC.
- Assist with VAT returns, year-end accounts, and tax compliance audits.
- Generate financial reports and budgets to support executive decision-making.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for all financial documentation.
Qualifications
- ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or AAT qualified accountant.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the UK finance sector.
- Strong proficiency in Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Deep knowledge of UK tax laws and financial regulations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders.
