We are looking for a highly analytical Credit Analyst to join our team in Arlington, TX. Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate credit applications to determine risk levels and approve or decline credit requests based on established criteria.
- Review financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to assess the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models and risk assessment tools.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and reports for management review.
- Monitor existing accounts to identify potential delinquencies and recommend appropriate remedial actions.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state lending regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or financial underwriting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and financial modeling software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
