Responsibilities
- Regulatory Oversight: Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local laws and regulations to ensure continuous compliance.
- Audit Management: Plan, conduct, and report on internal audits to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Policy Development: Develop, implement, and update comprehensive compliance policies and procedures.
- Investigations: Lead internal investigations into potential policy violations or unethical behavior.
- Training: Deliver training sessions to staff on compliance standards, ethical conduct, and regulatory updates.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or auditing.
- Certifications: Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of financial regulations (e.g., SEC, FINRA) and state-specific compliance laws.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of training diverse audiences.
