Responsibilities
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and company policies.
- Develop, update, and implement compliance manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Investigate and document any compliance violations or safety incidents, providing corrective action plans.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
- Monitor changes in legislation and adjust internal controls accordingly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a compliance, risk management, or quality assurance role.
- Strong understanding of industry-specific regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 9001/14001).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex regulatory information clearly to non-technical staff.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
