Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough internal audits and inspections to ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local safety regulations.
- Manage the inventory and distribution of company-provided compliance equipment to all field staff.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, or potential violations and develop corrective action plans.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on compliance status and risk assessments.
- Train employees on proper equipment usage and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections.
- Update compliance manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as laws change.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or environmental safety.
- Experience managing equipment logistics and safety gear is a strong plus.
- Valid certification (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional - CCEP) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
