Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process and record all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients and ensure timely payment collection.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for easy audits.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and basic tax preparation.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
